Importance
[edit]This game was the first Japanese RPG, self-published by an American and shoved down magazine-editor's throats. Before this game, even pen-and-paper RPGs weren't well-known. It then became wildly-popular, and ripped off by Enix, Square, etc. This is easily a High importance, if not a Top. ▫ JohnnyMrNinja 22:04, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

- In that interview Rogers claims to have programmed it himself, which seems untrue?
- Also plenty of Japanese RPGs already existed as detailed on this page. 111.106.166.232 (talk) 21:05, 17 February 2023 (UTC)
