Combine cast and character section
[edit]Why is there insistence on maintaining both a character and cast list? They should be combined and listed in an order that is consistent with credits displayed. Format of "Character (voiced by Voice Actor)" would be fine since opening and closing credits do not show just the actor's name. Subsections like Villains and Others is not needed. I suggest going by http://disneyxd.disney.com/7d/characters if closing credits order cannot be determined. Queen Delightful, Lord Starchbottom, and the Glooms have equal star billing as the 7D. -AngusWOOF (talk) 14:01, 10 July 2014 (UTC)
- Because the cast list would be used to handle additional voices for the TV series while the character section would detail more about the characters. As for sorting the characters, it would separate the 7D from the villains and the other characters that would have recurring appearances on the show. The villains section would be in the event that there would be other recurring villains on the show. Did I leave anything out? --Rtkat3 (talk) 00:55, 11 July 2014 (UTC)
- You left out the part about how MOS:TV doesn't agree with you constantly moving the cast table to after the episode list.[1][2] Twice now I've moved the cast to the correct location with "layout per MOS:TV" in the edit summary.[3][4] but you don't seem to be getting the message. MOS:TV recommends the following layout:
Lead paragraphs
Plot section
Character listing
Background/production
Cast information
Crew
Themes
Broadcast
Note the position of the bolded headings relevant to each other. Normally, "character listing" and "cast information" are combined. --AussieLegend (✉) 06:21, 11 July 2014 (UTC)

Recurring characters
[edit]Can someone confirm Dippy, Sir Yipsalot, and Snazzy Shazam are going to be recurring, that is, participating in more than one episode? -AngusWOOF (talk) 20:11, 30 July 2014 (UTC)
- Sir Yipsalot and Squire Peckington confirmed to be regulars, even if their voice acting credits are not mentioned in every episode. -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:30, 3 August 2014 (UTC)
- I'd like to let you know that Hildy Gloom's rival Snazzy Shazam has appeared in "Sleepytime" and "Knick Knack Paddy Whack." There was also two appearances by the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe as well. --Rtkat3 (talk) 21:28, 19 August 2014 (UTC)
Voice actor article
[edit]This might be useful in beefing up the character sections regarding how the voice actors portray their characters:
This one's even better, mentions inspirations by the voice actors for their characters:

Expand production
[edit]Article needs some more information regarding its production, mentioning how some of the crew members and voice actors have worked together on other shows like Animaniacs or Pinky and the Brain. -AngusWOOF (talk) 17:00, 7 August 2014 (UTC)
Broadcast schedule and program order
[edit]In the most recent programming schedule, two of the half-episodes that have already aired are paired with new episodes, marking the first time in the series where the order is shuffled around. Since there are little to no production codes available (just a handful on copyright.gov), the episode numbering will get weird. For instance, episode 17 on a tv guide might actually be episode 16. When the episode actually airs, we will have to see if they stay with this scramble plan. -AngusWOOF (talk) 00:07, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
- I think we should keep it as it is. Only those two episodes have aired out of order. Dcbanners (talk) 11:23, 19 December 2014 (UTC)
- Can someone check what was actually aired this past week regarding these episodes Queen's Quest and Finders Keepers. Were they aired together or were they paired with older rerun episodes? On WATCH Disney XD (AT&T U-verse) I am seeing Queen's Quest and Finders Keepers paired together as episode 21. HERE -AngusWOOF (talk) 22:30, 17 January 2015 (UTC)
- I checked the 1/18 broadcast and it does pair Finders Keepers with Grim the Genius. -AngusWOOF (talk) 03:38, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
Production codes updated
[edit]The episode listing has been updated with Production Codes. As there are variants across sources, it will refer mainly to the Disney XD press site and its 3-digit SEE (season 1 episode 8 is episode 108) scheme. Copyright.gov also uses these codes (e.g. 1-08) with some confusion where they tried to number them through individual segments, or used some 597 prefixed code. Clicking on the individual episodes there will reveal the SEE code that is consistent with Disney XD's listing. The copyright.gov site did list one inconsistency where they listed the "The Long, Long Winter" / "Itsy Bitsy Spider Fighters" episode and "The Littlest Giants" / "Gnome Alone" episode as 1-01, so the Wikipedia article will favor the Disney XD site.
The airdates will remain from the TV guide, Zap2It, and secondary source listings since they reflect what was actually broadcast, especially when they mixed newly aired episode segments with older segments.
It is unclear whether The Rock of Sages will be part of season 1 or the premiere for season 2, but it is a completed episode pending broadcast in September. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 20:37, 13 August 2015 (UTC)
- The Rock of Sages was finally broadcast and completes season 1. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 16:49, 24 December 2015 (UTC)
Season 2 underway
[edit]Season 2 episode information is starting to appear on the Disney XD Press site and Zap2It. The specific episode names posted for January 23 are contradictory, so I have commented out Disney XD Press for now and we shall see what episodes are broadcast then.
