Needs updating
[edit]The local population may have accepted them enthusiastically - but most of them don't drive.Like all things that were introduced after the second war, they have mostlt fallen into disrepair - including the state-of-the-art 'real' traffic lights on the Bvd, 30 Juin. The robots were a complete gimic - largely ignored by drivers and not recognised by anyone from outside Kinshasa. They were a foolish enterprise. Some intersections now have quite presentable central traffic light units that don't look like something from a 1930s sci-fi film. Francis Hannaway (talk) 21:20, 13 May 2019 (UTC)
