Not on topic ?
[edit]The link to "Nikon E series" seems not to be connected to the topic. At least not more than any camera system is connected to any optical device or lens technology. I did not check the Minolta link eighter. In my opinion these misleading link(s) should be eliminated. On the other hand there's not much usefull information given at all - for instance when compared to the Barlow lens ... --92.195.16.185 (talk) 15:49, 31 January 2013 (UTC) JB.
- No, that's perfectly on topic. The device built into the E series is a telecompressor to shrink the 35mm film format image circle to that of a 2/3 inch sensor.
- But those references to mirrorless are absolut BS and missleading. The metabone speedbooster and the like don't "magically" add an F-stop because of the camera beeing mirrorless, but because it (again) shrinks the image circle and this only works if the camera has a smaller sensor than the lens is designed for - it doesn't matter if it's mirrorless or SLR-type. 77.188.62.45 (talk) 20:12, 18 April 2018 (UTC)
