more on nomenclature?
[edit]It would be good to expand the nomenclature section- more on what is an RSID number, what are the designations used in haplogroup terminal snip like L51*, M412*, DF27, Z198 and maybe the haplogroup nomenclature like R-L51 vs R1b1a1a2a1*. But maybe that should go on the haplogroup page. Eaberry (talk) 02:49, 28 November 2018 (UTC)
Not impressed
[edit]This Wikipedia page contains nothing of interest if you are already familiar with PCA, clustering and some elementary mathematics. It patently fails to explain how the SNP tagging is actually done. Exactly what (and I think have to repeat this at least three times: EXACTLY EXACTLY EXACTLY) is the matrix you apply PCA to? What do the rows represent? What do the columns represent? How large are the matrices? How many individuals are involved? How many blocks? If you can just explain that there is nothing more to say. 213.89.165.19 (talk) 14:09, 26 January 2025 (UTC)
