Why is his religious preference mentioned in the first sentence? This is very unusual for a Wikipedia biography about a film maker. I mean, we don't say "so-and-so is a Jewish filmmaker" or a Catholic or Methodist filmmaker, etc. – such information may be included in the Personal Life section of a biography, but certainly not like this.
Now, if he's an LDS employee or producing films under contract with them, then it would be clearer to say he is a filmmaker for the LDS church. Otherwise, this is undue weight; it would be better to say something along the lines of, "several of his films have depicted Mormon themes". JGHowes talk23:19, 5 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It's the genre of film actually, I would argue. It isn't just that it is his faith/sect. The genre can be read about here, LDS cinema. He is not hired by the church, but makes films under the genre.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 03:39, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I will be working on making his filmography into a comprehensive chart that will be more organized. I just changed the formatting to be consistent throughout the list, but I will be working on a filmography chart.--DisneyMetalhead (talk) 03:39, 29 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
