Promotional tone issues
[edit]Especially in the short description and, in my opinion, the plantation history section, there's content that's written in an overly positive way and sounds like it's been lifted from the college website or some similar promotional material. I believe this article could use editing for neutrality, to fix this issue. Maybe it could also use editing for length- it could definitely be more concise.

- As most of the history of the college sections were written or edited by me (can't say I've monitored it much since 2015), I'm happy to say I lifted none of it 'from the college website' other than the Tusculum Institute and related publications (the only research institute which was ever active in cataloguing and recording the history of the college). None of this information is actually readily available elsewhere than on the college's website as far as I am aware. Perhaps Lynn Rainville's book which I have now provided a citation to. If you are unhappy with the writing, may I suggest revising it in your own time? Ladysif (talk) 15:39, 12 August 2023 (UTC)
