Chart positions
[edit]Trying to find info on how high up the charts this song reached when it came out. The Connie Francis article indicates her version made the Top 20 (#17). ... This source Marcos Valle, at Billboard.com says only that Wanderley's version made the Top 40, while a records-dedicated blog (not an acceptable Wikipedia source) says it made it to #26 ([1]).Lawikitejana 05:08, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
GilvaSunner link
[edit]the link that says that it is similar to music from a nintendo game points to a channel "GilvaSunner" -- this is essentially a channel of songs remixed into video game styles, not a repository of actual video game music. possibly recommending this be removed from article because this, it's not like... actually from the game? with that said there are some pretty substantial similarities to other nintendo mii-related music (i could swear the actual melody from the chorus is actually part of a nintendo song but i can't place exactly where) so it's possible this one lies somewhere between truth and fiction. 2604:2000:1107:34E:D93C:EA28:F963:EA92 (talk) 05:10, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
- The GilvaSunner channel- formerly called SilvaGunner, with an L- posts real video game music, and the link in question is an actual 3DS song. SiIvaGunner (two I's) is a parody channel that posts fake video game music, the name being a play on the original channel's name, with the joke being that it appears to be the genuine VGM channel due to the name similarity. With all that said, I personally fail to see how a link to the 3DS song qualifies as evidence that people compare it to Summer Samba so a better citation may still be in order. First record
[edit]It seems that the bossa nova was first recorded in 1964 by Roberto Menescal and issued on his LP "A nova bossa nova ([2]). Although this arrangement didn't have extraodinary qualities, it nevertheless deserves mention being the first. Olorulus (talk) 06:30, 3 June 2023 (UTC)
