Category:American slave owners

No mention of slave-owning. I feel that this category should be restricted to people whose slave-owning history was notable in itself. Valetude (talk) 05:16, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

That's incorrect, the article mentions it as well as cites it. And the standard you propose for the category honestly doesn't make any sense. To the extent I think I get what you mean, it would make the category's contents arbitrarily omit many articles based on subjective editor weighing rather than factual. postdlf (talk) 16:00, 15 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]
