Inside Centre

[edit]

Hasn't he played a number of games at inside centre or am I going loopy.GarethHolteDavies (talk) 13:29, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You mean like it says in the lead? – PeeJay 13:40, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry I meant it was not mentioned on the infobox, I have seen other players with multiple positions, and Mr Jones seems to have played at 12 at the highest level.GarethHolteDavies (talk) 13:42, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I assumed that's what you meant. You can add it to the infobox if you want. – PeeJay 14:11, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Apart from a World Class rugby player he was a very good footballer playing to county standard and even having trials with a Premiership club - I think it was Liverpool! Ymlaen "the crab" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.164.132.36 (talk) 08:25, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Really? Can you provide any source for this information? – PeeJay 09:42, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Breaks

[edit]

Shouldn't this article be broken up. Also to inlcude these noteworthy articles from the Beeb http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/rugby_union/welsh/default.stm GarethHolteDavies (talk) 13:59, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Broken up long article. GarethHolteDavies (talk) 13:35, 21 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately not, however, he played for Carmarthen Town before joining the Scarlets as a trainee so the only available source would be Carmarthen. He also played for the Carmarthenshire League and it was probably his last few years as a footballer when he was offered a trial! The only evidence was is that I played alongside him! Next time I see him i'll ask him to verify what club it was and try dig out some old records in local newspaper —Preceding unsigned comment added by 163.164.132.35 (talk) 13:19, 31 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Career stats

[edit]

Although the Scarlets website does so, Jones' stats for Llanelli RFC and the Scarlets should not be combined. The Scarlets regional side did not exist until 2003, and Llanelli RFC has continued on past then, so it is not possible that he played so many games for the same club. – PeeJay 20:47, 19 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Correct, PeeJay.
I shall support you if required.  –
