List of incumbents
[edit]Canon Johnson retired in about 1985, I think, about 18 months before the Revd Lowe was appointed. During the gap, Andrew Burnham (now Bishop of Ebbsfleet), was appointed as curate. -- Nicholas Jackson (talk) 11:00, 19 October 2008 (UTC)
Sources
[edit]A few useful sources available on the Internet Archive and Google Books:
- William White, History, Gazetteer and Directory of the County of Nottinghamshire (1832) 556–558
- Francis White & Co, History, Gazetteer and Directory of the County of Nottinghamshire (1864) 371–373
- Kelly & Co, Post Office Directory of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire (1855) 11–12
None of them really tell us anything that isn't already in the article (except that in 1855 the curate was one William Henry Fox BA) but it's good to have additional sources, and I'll try to incorporate appropriate citations into the article when I've got a bit more spare time. (Unless anyone else wants to do it.) -- Nicholas Jackson (talk) 17:45, 27 July 2012 (UTC)
