Not done: as you have not requested a specific change in the form "Please replace XXX with YYY" or "Please add ZZZ between PPP and QQQ".
More importantly, you have not cited reliable sources to back up your request, without which no information should be added to, or changed in, any article. - Arjayay (talk) 19:48, 6 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

What Town?

[edit]

Has the name of the town -- real or fictional -- ever been established?

In the finale Ray mentions that they're from Orange County, and earlier on the cops patches read "[---]PORT ---". Which combines to mean Newport Beach.

His yearbook indicated his school was named "LHS", however, rather than "NHS" or "NBHS". Is that possible? Is there some Lincoln/Liberty/Lafayette type name for (one of?) Newport Beach's HS(s)? Or is "Laguna" close enuf to be a possibility? (I notice that 3 of the 6 cities in OC are "Laguna ---").

Wiki "List of HSs in OC" shows only ONE single-world HS in the whole county: LOARA HS in Anaheim. I assume this is way too far to be the default for kids living in NB?

So where are they SUPPOSED to be? Some fictional "Lincoln HS" or the like in Newport Beach?

Surprised they didn't just go with NBHS on the yearbooks. Were we not supposed to NOTICE the cops' patches?

????

PS: Passed a "Lena Av" sign in same ep. Which matches NOTHING in OC!

(Wasn't supposed to noticed THAT either, I guess?)

They're more or less in a fictional version of Orange County, but the high school in the pilot is clearly El Segundo High School (look along the top of the bleachers in the track scene, or notice the iconic arched entry, same one as in War Games, among many other cameos). After that episode, they use a different school for the exteriors.Penny Richards (talk) 22:46, 9 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
