Spacefacts.de Images

[edit]

Just a quick question regarding images from spacefacts.de; surely whether or not they allow the use of their images is irrelevant for us, as the images we use are originally sourced from NASA, so Spacefacts.de has absolutely no rights at all regarding what we do with the images, eg mission patches, etc.? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Colds7ream (talkcontribs) 13:18, 30 March 2007 (UTC).[reply]

So shouldn't Roskosmos have the copyright to the Russian patches, not Spacefacts.de? Colds7ream 20:39, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The owner of the patches image IS NOT the Russian Federation: It is copyrighted by Alex Panchenko a exceptional ukranian artist who lives in California. STSNews made the artwork based on his design, and sent it to SPACEFACTS. So it is clear that the "owner" of the image is not the Russian Federation. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.212.119.170 (talk) 14:50, 10 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ratio of Expedition 15 Crewmembers

[edit]

The article currently describes TMA-10 as bringing, "two-thirds of ISS Expedition 15 to the space station." This doesn't seem correct. Won't there be a total of 5 people who at some point are members of Expedition 15? Sdsds 04:05, 9 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on Ballistic Trajectory

[edit]

The link to ballistics doesn't describe a ballistic trajectory so if you don't know how this differs from what normally happens, you have no clue what this section is talking about. Ballistics is just the study of how something moves without engines and I didn't think the engines were on when a rocket landed? Could we either clarify this article or mention what a ballistic trajectory is in the Ballistics article. As written I don't understand it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.33.111.74 (talk) 13:39, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That internal link is to an unrelated topic. 66.28.178.68 16:07, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be good to use the article called Atmospheric reentry to explain the difference between ballistic entry and lifting/guided entry. Hektor 16:30, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
