Flight 3472 vs Flight 1380

This has to be a coincidence:

A) The engine that failed on both planes was the left side.

B) The part that failed in both incidences was a fan blade.

C) Both flights suffered ALMOST similar engine damage, both lost an inlet cowling.

Now there are differences:

A) 1380's incident resulted in the shattering of a window and decompression. Along with this the loss of the window resulted in a Wells Fargo executive to die after almost being sucked out the window(yes she was an executive level employee). 3472 did not.

B) 3472's engine damage was just isolated to the inlet cowling. 1380's engine had lost an inlet cowling and the nacelle got "crinkled". RaydenAG (talk) 13:00, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
