How many stations?
[edit]I have added an image for the new Metro station due to be opened Summer 2019. This will be the third station for South Shields for which there are already two articles. I am seeking the views of others before making any changes. The options appear to be:
- Merge the two articles (South Shields railway station and South Shields Metro station) to cover all the stations in South Shields. I think this would be my preference since the three stations are barely a stone’s throw apart; and I am tempted to use South Shields railway station as the article name.
- Keep the two existing articles and expand South Shields Metro station to include the new metro station.
- Expand to three articles – one for each station. Easy to do but unlikely to be helpful for navigation; and what would be the name of the new station?
Comments welcomed. Twiceuponatime (talk) 12:20, 16 February 2019 (UTC)
