Need better descriptions of differences/similarities
[edit]In the description. Esp. since solar storm is in the news and may mean all three. Helpful if the articles make it clear in lead relation to this word and to other articles; haven't checked bodies of articles. Or that there be merge if any are same phenomena. I'm not an expert and don't have time to become one. Anyone else there more up on the topic who wants to fix this? Thanks. CarolMooreDC (talk) 02:32, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- A quick look at couple article makes it look like the flare causes the CME, which leads to the geomagnetic storm. If so, that order and explanation would be helpful. CarolMooreDC (talk) 02:37, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
- The heck with it, I was just bold and changed not only the disambig but leads of some of the articles to make them conform to some extent with each other and/or with the sources provided. CarolMooreDC (talk) 03:12, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
Solar storm(s) of 2012
[edit]I support keeping it in, but someone has to hurry up and write it. (Though "storms" might be more appropriate. There are lots of WP:RS. I'll put on my list but it might be 2013 before I get there. Assuming there's an electrical grid left. CarolMooreDC (talk) 19:11, 2 September 2010 (UTC)
