Issue: Citation replaced

[edit]

@JamesVilla44, on this diff you have replaced citation url, can you please explain the reason. While you replaced url, the |archive-url= still stands the previous one.––kemel49(connect)(contri) 08:56, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]

I replaced the citation urls because the links have changed since the event and when the articles were originally posted. If you click on the old urls you will see that they link to 404 Page not found Old url (dead), while the current url links to the same page but with the current, and live, url. Current and live url], you will see that the archive is the same article as the old and current versions Archive JamesVilla44 (talk) 11:12, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Yes you are right that old url was dead, but it has an archived copy. Now i will suggest you to add your new URLs archived copy or add previous url as it was before.––kemel49(connect)(contri) 12:02, 6 January 2025 (UTC)[reply]
