Feedback from New Page Review process

[edit]

I left the following feedback for the creator/future reviewers while reviewing this article: Hey! Nice job with this article! If you want to expand it further, Hans Nugteren's contribution to the The Oxford Guide to the Transeurasian Languages has some nice discussion of this language family as well as more general discussion of the internal structure of Mongolic. He also points the reader to the chapters by Birtalan, Bläsing, Skribnik, and Svantesson in the Routledge "Mongolic Languages" volume that you already used here.

In terms of content, one thing that would be nice to expand upon is the origins of the family and its relationship both to history (e.g. the waxing and waning of the Mongol Empire) and to issues in historical linguistics (e.g. genetic relationships versus sprachbunds). I only skimmed the sources I was looking at, but it seems like these are interesting aspects of the topic.

But once again, nice article!
