Myelin sheath

[edit]

I think the myelin sheath should also be mentioned, since it seems to be so important to nerves and nervous impulse conduction.

Rhinophore sheath

[edit]

Rhinophore sheath is mentioned in the dinosaur nudibranch (a type of sea slug) article and some other nudibranch articles here. There is a Rhinophore article in wikipedia, but not a "Rhinophore sheath" article. I am not sure exactly what this type of sheath is, but when I have time I will try to figure it out and add it to this page. Fallendarling (talk) 02:07, 19 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I just noticed that in the Bornella (also a type of sea slug) article, a hyperlink for the word sheath (referring to the Rhinophore sheath) currently leads here to the Sheath disambiguation page. But there is no mention of the rhinophore sheath here. I just wanted to mention this, as I am getting the feeling the problem is more widespread than just these 2 sea slug articles, and I hope some of us can figure out what a Rhinophore sheath is and add it to the Sheath disambiguation page's list of sheaths. "Cheeseburger?"

[edit]

I see no relation between the word "sheath" and the word "cheeseburger." Why is it listed here? Jarble (talk) 00:53, 16 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
