The result of the move request was: Move. Clearly the common way of writing his name in English sources. Cúchullain t/c 14:44, 5 July 2013 (UTC)
Serhiy Stakhovsky → Sergiy Stakhovsky – The guy's name is SerGiy on the ATP's official site and that is how his name should be listed on Wikipedia. Regardless of whether or not the letter exists in Ukranian, even he spells it Sergiy on his official twitter as well. Morhange (talk) 19:49, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- I agree on the move. Transliteration has its own rules. Lajbi Holla @ me • CP 20:31, 26 June 2013 (UTC)
- I agree too. Unreal7 (talk) 10:46, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
- I disagree. It works like this: ґ = ɡ / g and г = ɦ / h[1]; г is the character used in his name, therefore it's transliterated as an 'h'. A note can be made that he prefers to spell it with a 'g', but that doesn't make it correct. This is an encyclopedia entry, not a personal website.67.173.47.125 (talk) 21:52, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
