I was looking for info on dental sealants. Mathiastck 17:14, 3 October 2006 (UTC)
- I'm looking for recommendations on metal sealants (specifically, preventing air-exposure oxidation of polished copper, aluminum, magnesium, lead, iron and tungsten). If this is the wrong place to post such a question, please let me know and I'll delete it. mhubbard@internews.org Thank you for your help.71.128.36.124 21:01, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
In relation to copyright, a simple Google search reveals the content was source from:

Please help me get the need for sealants in standing seam joints.
I need to present it at a meeting tomorrow and i trust you will help me find a very reliable solution to this question.
Thanks and counting on your usual cooperation.
I second the copyright infringement suggestion
[edit]I've marked the page as not having any references, but it looks to me like it's copied and pasted from somewhere else. edit: I've nominated the page to be looked at by mods re: copyright infringement. Thanks to Guy M for leaving the URL the page may have been copied from. I don't think that the page is simply a mirror of Wikipedia because that still wouldn't explain the lack of citations on such a lengthy article. However, I'm new to this and tired, so hopefully the mods will know what to do. --Pipedreambomb 21:21, 7 August 2007 (UTC)

Redirect from Sealing material?
[edit]The first sentence of the article suggests that this redirection would be justified.ML-Est 12:07, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Google searching the term turns up things like O-rings and gaskets, not sealants as described here. Maybe a disambiguation page would be good. Ewlyahoocom 04:37, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
Response to the short-sighted comment above: Porosity Sealing is not a sealant; it is a process. A link to a sealant page, especially 100% reactive acrylic sealants would be appropriate. However, to include porosity sealing under the topic of sealants would make no more sense than to put the process of painting under the topic "paint". —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.81.122.66 (talk) 12:18, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
Asking for Porosity Sealing to remain as-is.
[edit]I would ask that we please leave the Porosity Sealing article in its own section. I was looking for Porosity Sealing and I found it thanks to the current setup. I think a link to Sealing/Sealing Material might be more appropriate. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Fishchoke (talk • contribs) 15:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Remain as-is
[edit]This page should remain separate. Porosity sealing is not a sealant, it is a process. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.74.52.193 (talk) 18:51, 25 February 2008 (UTC)
Types of sealant section
[edit]...is a bit bloated. Any ideas? PDCook (talk) 13:42, 29 March 2010 (UTC)
