Some of the "controversies" e.g. 'The SFP were refused entry to an Edinburgh pub in September 2021 after the owners discovered who they were. When staff from the Outhouse bar in New Town found out that the "academics" who had booked a table at the venue were SFP members, they told them that their political views "do not align with the venue"' seem trvial and unimportant. I think this section needs to focus on real controversies. Not that one pub once cancelled a meeting! Flexdream (talk) 17:04, 11 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I am sorry for starting this discussion on yet another article, but i feel like it’s somewhat important.
”Right Wing” implies that the party is more moderate than it is, the party basically forked off of UKIP (which is “Right Wing to Far Right), and has is staunchly Anti-LGBT, which is definitely more extreme than even Right Wing Populist party Reform UK, which people are also debating about the position of.
Jaybainshetland, we go by what reliable sources explicitly state. It does not matter what the views of editors are. If you have any reliable sources that explicitly call the party far-right then please provide them. Unless this can be done then this should not be changed.
