References bias

Logical fallacies.
[edit]One should note the logical fallacies of such men. "American Woman dress.. etc". This is a stereotype, not a religious classicifation. The correct religious term would be "idolater", and not nationalistic. In other words, he is using provocative stereotypes rather than real religious language. In in that sense, is not a muslim.

- Wikipedia Talk page is not a forum to spread your own POVs of men nor translations/judgment of their thoughts. Please only use this to enhance the article. --Dr.EbrahimSaadawi (talk) 02:36, 23 August 2020 (UTC)
- There is a critiscism section, and if you can find credible sources making suck critiscisms your can add it there. We can't add in original research like our own critiscisms of his thought, as horrendous as it might be. Just like the section on the Nazis simply lists their ideology plainly for the world to see, this must be presented in the same light. It may make many Muslims feel ashamed to read it, that is a good thing, we must realize the mistakes of our coreligionists it we are to avoid repeating them. I'm ashamed of many things Christians have said and done. 2601:140:8900:61D0:1560:97B0:F991:C247 (talk) 18:07, 23 February 2021 (UTC)
'Evolution of thought' bad source
[edit]The section 'Events prompting the move from secularism to Islam' claims, citing a poor source, that Qutb moved form secularism to islamism because of an experience on the boat to the United States of America. This is highly doubtful since his work 'Social Justice in Islam' was written before his journey to the US. This book already includes many islamist thoughts like the rejection of any system that doesn't enforce the sharia. While it is disputed how much the journey influenced Qutb, it is clear that he was already shifting more to islamism before. Since the source "an anonymous work (The Lives of Hassan elBanna & Syed Qutb available on Scribd)" is unreliable is argue for deletion of this section.

Inconsistency
[edit]The period between May 1964 and August 1965 is longer than 8 months. Are there reliable sources about this period of his life? 149.132.63.173 (talk) 12:52, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

Hi I'd like to add some info about his Indian ancestry, it's in the "Early life" subsection of "Life and public career."
"His father was an Upper Egyptian landowner and the administrator of the family estate, but he was also well known for his political activism, holding weekly meetings to discuss the political events and Qur'anic recitation.[29][30][31]"
And I would add just after that
"According to Qutb, his sixth great-grandfather was an Indian Muslim who settled down in Egypt following his hajj.[1][2]"
also if agreed to add Qutb in the following category :
