some idiot
[edit]Okay some idiot put the songs from Adrenaline on here, and I don't knwo the songs for this album, so can someone change that?
Controversial Topics
[edit]The article claims that the clean version of Pink Cellphone "excludes the monologue at the song's end containing offensive language and controversial themes involving fellatio, anal sex, and British people." How are the British controversial? I understand what the person who wrote it meant, but isn't there a better way to say that? Mujarimojo 03:12, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Genre Categorization
[edit]How can you put a genre category on here? No one has even heard the album yet. Deftone's music has always been harder, but you can't just put the category on here until it's been heard. That's just speculation and you can only put facts on here.--Jpagel 14:27, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
U, U, D, D, L, R, L, R, A, B, Select, Start
[edit]is this a rafference to the konami code to get 30 lives in contra. although many sites list the code from game to be "Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start". Come on game experts is there a game with the code that exactly matches the song title?Martian Kyo 09:57, 20 October 2006 (UTC)
- Konami uses that as a base for a lot of games, there's some variation from game to game. It's still, however, referred to as the "Contra Code" Mujarimojo 03:07, 24 August 2007 (UTC)
Fake release version of Pink Cellphone
[edit]can be downloaded from Ares, two singers singing: a male and a female. Does anyone know whose song is this and what's its name?
It has lyrics in the beginning like:
Caught in the cemetery of your mind But I'm not happier than you Did I really see you Or was it a dream?
I googled but no result. I may have misheard too.
Thanks.
Different versions
[edit]Are there more than one version of the album? [1] gives a different tracklist with FM instead of Rapture and The Earth and Comanche instead of KimDracula and Riviere. /Lokal_Profil 22:14, 3 November 2006 (UTC)
could just be incorrect data --152.78.254.245 12:25, 7 December 2006 (UTC)
Unreferenced
[edit]Can someone please be more specific about which claims need references. Perhaps using {{citation needed}} templates after such claims. greek lamb 09:23, 10 December 2006 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Deftones saturday night wrist.jpg
[edit]Image:Deftones saturday night wrist.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Shoegaze
[edit]Who deleted shoegaze without discussion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Revan ltrl (talk • contribs) 17:21, 22 November 2008 (UTC)
- Shoegaze is referring to only one song on the album (per the source). Not the album as a whole. The infobox is about the albums music as a whole, not individual songs. So it shouldnt' be included in the infobox. Andrzejbanas (talk) 18:09, 2 May 2016 (UTC)
Progressive metal? Stoner rock?
[edit]Using, uh, "legitimate sources" aside... it kinda feels like people are kinda clutching at straws here? Not really gonna bother contesting anything at this point—just an observation. RHedmi (talk) 07:29, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
We are kinda clutching at straws, but hey, they're at least partially accurate in reality, wouldn't you say? If only there were some concrete support for alt metal or experimental rock we wouldn't have this issue.... dannymusiceditor what'd I do now? 16:35, 4 May 2016 (UTC)
