Wouldn't it be better to actually use a table for each of the shows?

This current design looks bad and is not really consice.

Writers Strike

[edit]

Wouldn't a writers' strike (deadline October 31) effectively cancel SNL episodes if it does occur? --24.78.124.8 04:49, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it would. Currently the writers on slated to go on strike at 12:01 AM on November 5th. SNL will only be able to run repeats until the strike is over. Cast members will not be allowed to continue to write just like the dedicated writing staff.76.17.159.212 21:08, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:SNL32NEWLOGO.PNG

[edit]

Image:SNL32NEWLOGO.PNG is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Website Confirming

[edit]

From now on, please don't put "confirmed on" whoever's "website." Please put a direct link —Preceding unsigned comment added by Connerb312 (talkcontribs) 02:03, 7 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add in unconfirmed hosts on unconfirmed dates.

[edit]

As of this date, the only upcoming confirmed host attached with a specific date is Christopher Walken. Nothing is confirmed after that. Steve Carell and Shia Leboeuf have been confirmed, but there is no knowledge of who goes first, just that they will both host in May. 69.28.232.125 (talk) 16:56, 17 March 2008 (UTC) samusek2[reply]

Is there a show May 3rd?

[edit]

Who says there's a show May 3rd? --Marshmellowlisa (talk) 22:56, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No show May 3rd--12 shows this season

[edit]

I don't know who keeps changing this in the article, but as of now there is NO SHOW May 3rd. This means a total of 12 episodes for season 33. If anyone has any source proving there is an episode May 3rd, please post it. Until then, I will correct it in the article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snlfan (talkcontribs) 17:21, 12 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Necessity of 'tidbits' about the amount of live shows, etc.

[edit]

Speaking strictly as someone who reads websites like these, simply for factual information, I have to ask about the necessity of some of the details listed in the first paragraph. It concerns an amount of information about certain months that have a certain amount of shows and the so called 'Christmas episode'. Is there a demographic for which this information would prove useful or is it random notes? It seems like the article would get less caught up in some random point of interest if sections like these were removed and have a more rhythmic flow to it, following the same format of every other 'SNL season' article which only notes when the season started, when it ended, what changes were made to the cast, and events of noteworthy interest that happened. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.86.150.243 (talk) 00:34, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Removed 'Listings' section

[edit]

I have begun removing the "Listings" sections from SNL Seasons articles because they consistently fail WP:NOTDIR policy concerns. You can find the main discussion here: Talk:List of Saturday Night Live episodes#.27Listings.27 sections on Seasons pages. -- Wikipedical (talk) 00:43, 28 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Cancelled Episodes

[edit]

We know that there were the episodes Dwayne Johnson/Amy Winehouse and Jonah Hill/Kid Rock. Rumors were heard that Ben Affleck was supposed to host after Jonah Hill. What were the planned episodes from November 2007-February 2008? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.35.211.150 (talk) 00:09, 15 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
