Contested deletion

[edit]

This page should not be speedy deleted as an unambiguous copyright infringement, because i have changed it. actually there were only one sentence which was seem to be copied. I have taken only list of books from that site with reference. if you have any objection on list just let me know, i will rewrite list in my own word again. hope admin will ask me again before deletion (if decided). --Ameen Akbar (talk) 18:54, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Almost the entire article (the "Books" section) is copied verbatim from http://wiki.qern.org/mirza-ghulam-ahmad/contemporaries/sanaullah-amritsari. It's not just a list of names, but includes annotations and comments.
The article has other problems too, including the fact that there are no references. ubiquity (talk) 19:02, 30 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Dear ubiquity just give me 1 day to resolve all problems.Ameen Akbar (talk) 04:25, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
OK, I removed the copyvio tag, but you still have work to do. First, you need to demonstrate the author's notability. The fact that he wrote a lot of things doesn't necessarily make him notable, because without sources we have no way of evaluating the importance of what he wrote. Your subject needs to meet the general notability guidelines or the specific notability guidelines for authors. Right now your article only has one source, the wiki entry, and that's not a reliable source because we don't know anything about the people who contribute to that wiki. Second, the list of books needs to be properly formatted, and if any of the books are still in print the ISBN numbers would be immensely helpful. Last, you have a link to the text of one of the books itself, but this cannot be used as a reference. It can be used as an external link, but the link didn't work for me, so you might want to double-check it.
Articles in the main space need to meet Wikipedia standards for notability, verifiability and formatting. If you feel you need more time to get this article in shape, I urge you to move it to Draft:Sanaullah Amritsari or User:امین اکبر/Sanaullah Amritsari where you can work on it at your leisure. ubiquity (talk) 14:20, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
ubiquity Thank you so much. Subject has more than 15000 google result in English and more than 5000 in Urdu language. Subject is very well known by every Muslim of Pakistan and India. Anyway I will update this article on main namespace. Thanks again. Ameen Akbar (talk) 16:26, 1 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Add recent translation of Tareekh-e-Mirza

[edit]

There was a recent translation of a book by the author called "Tareekh-e-Mirza", with the English subtitle "The Life and Times of Mirza Ghulam Ahmad Qadiani". This is an accurate translation of the subject's work and was made available in the public domain upon release by the translator. It is hosted here: [1]https://archive.org/details/tareekh-e-mirza-english-translation-1st-edition. Note, the link contains an extraneous period at the end. Given that it is one of the subject's main areas of focus, this is highly relevant to the subject and should be included both within the article and as a reference.

What is the best strategy to reference to the author's bibliography? (Farhan000) 02:33, 10 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
