Draft created following discussion on a GT4 series page

[edit]

GT4 European Series was the launch series for the GT4 category in 2007. Between then and 2023 the GT4 class/category has grown to be near equal prominence with GT3. Over in that article's talk page we have agreed that SRO GT4 coverage should be brought up to GT3 standard - so this standalone draft is a place to collaborate on removing the SRO GT4 class info from that page, which is about a single series, and instead covering the class as a whole similar to how the FIA GT3 page has been constructed. GT4 competitions missing from WP incl. GT4 South

[edit]

I've added a disambiguation page for GT4 South as a reasonable way to cut through the confusion of SRO splitting into north & south, then FFSA picking up South, then making it explicitly French again, and meanwhile 2019 GT4 South European Series starting up in 2019 with a completely different promoter and on Iberian circuits rather than France/neighbours.

Would appreciate anyone reading this comment taking a look at what I've done with the links, making sure it stacks up correctly, and checking the timelines I've given.

Also note that I linked to the 2019 page for the Iberian series because we seem to have just that standalone page for that season - no series page overall or other years. Zaack23 (talk) 20:01, 24 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Some photos available under Creative Commons (yes, no licensing issues whatsoever)

[edit]

Took my time and gathered some photos that are under Creative Commons license (I activated the Google filter) and so far this is what I've gotten which isn't all of the missing ones but it's nice that some are available under this license which makes it way easier to add on the article (of course, credit the people who took the photos).
