[edit]

This article is an bad need of references. Some references may have been lost when this article was split in two, as I messed up my original edits. Unfortunately, the other article has been deleted (probably correctly so) so we can't check. There was also a proposed speedy-deletion due to lack of references. The prod had a few useful links: SMTP proxynews, books, scholar. These show a small, but non-trivial number of usages, but part of the problem is that this subject goes by other names, such as transparent mail proxynews, books, scholar, transparent email proxynews, books, scholar, transparent email servernews, books, scholar, or simply SMTP proxynews, books, scholar since if it is not transparent, it is just a standard SMTP relay. I have to run now, so I can't investigate these more right now, but I wanted to add a few thoughts after contesting the prod. Wrs1864 (talk) 12:46, 2 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Feel free to update this list removing items it the link target get online again or adding new deadlinks; it is OK to comment an entry but don't change the date because we use it to track how long the link is dead.

* 2017-06-08 - The link to the smtp-gated is dead.
