Article and name

[edit]

The article name "Line S 8" is too generic for this specific rail service in North Rhine Westphalia. There are 15 or so S-Bahn networks across Germany and further networks in Austria and Switzerland - many S8 lines in completely different geographical areas. If there are to be articles about more than one S8 then each one needs a different article name. However, German Wikipedia handles this differently. There are no articles for each S-Bahn line (S1, S2 etc), there are articles for each regional network (e.g. S-Bahn Rhein-Ruhr) and articles for rail routes, stretches of track, often used by other rail services beyond S-Bahn (e.g. Main-Weser-Bahn). I propose to rework the articles in English WP to match the German WP paradigm. Regards Guffydrawers (talk) 10:42, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
