[edit]I made some edits to this page, and it kinda turned into a major edit. I'm not putting the major edit tag up because I want anyone else to feel free to edit it. Also, in the bibliography, should I give English translations? Thilwy 16:41, 1 November 2005 (UTC)
Yes, please give English translations. Not everybody who reads the English Wikipedia on Latin American topics knows Spanish well enough to read Castellanos' works in the original language. Give the Spanish title in italics (with date of publication, etc. in plain text), then the title of the English translation (with date of publication, etc. in plain text). If there is no English translation, give a literal translation of the Spanish title in parenthesized plain text after the italicized Spanish title. Here is a hypothetical example:

Garbled And Possibly Opinionated
[edit]"On May 5th, 2016 Google put her image atop their search engine as her leftest appeal to the company's ideals."
First, I think they did that today, May 24th, not on the 5th. At least that's the first time I noticed it, and I use google a lot.
Second, leftest should probably be spelled leftist.
Third, did you mean to say her leftist positions appeal to the company's ideals?
Finally, is it perjorative (or just descriptive) to brand her a "leftist"? These days that's becoming like accusing someone of being a cattle mutilator. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.14.154.3 (talk) 04:07, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Regardless, it's not really something significant so it shouldn't be on the page. Or maybe it is significant to say google mentioned here, but anything about it being done for "leftist ideals" is just speculation and thus inappropriate. 2605:A601:541:D901:3CF8:2E82:5232:1388 (talk) 05:46, 25 May 2016 (UTC)
Links
[edit]The "musical" links at the bottom of the page is a dead link.
http://www.reverbnation.com/alisaamor4/songs contains English translations of a set of Rosario's poems set to music. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2602:306:3713:8F50:E1A9:D239:A3F1:81AD (talk) 09:28, 13 September 2017 (UTC)
