St Joseph Parish, Norwich
[edit]- Now that the article on this parish has been replaced with a redirect, I thought I'd post the diff to the article as last standing, so that it's not buried under the redirect page, and can be merged into the diocese article as and when appropriate. The essence of the article would seem to be:
St Joseph's Parish, Norwich, was a parish designated for Polish immigrants in 1904.[1] It is one of a number of Polish-American Roman Catholic parishes in New England.
[2][3][4] The parish sponsors the St. Joseph's Elementary School, pre-K to 8th grade, which is accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges.[5] In 2009, TV station WTNH featured the school for its charitable work for Haiti.[6]

- Just wondering if anybody had access to the Liptak source? --Paularblaster (talk) 21:20, 23 November 2009 (UTC)
Request for COA (diocese official Coat-of-Arms).
[edit]Greetings,
Prior to posting this request, I did search at Wikimedia commons for a Norwich COA file. If an official image is available, please upload with standard name of: Roman Catholic Diocese of Norwich.svg. Thanks in advance. Regards, JoeHebda (talk) 15:47, 31 December 2014 (UTC)

Accusations against Herbert
[edit]The accusations section contained a serious WP:Bio error. Per the Norwich Bulletin article:
- The complaint, filed earlier this month in New London Superior Court, claims the priest, Paul Hebert, hand-picked the plaintiff, Jonathan Roy, to be an altar boy at age 11.
The grossly incorrect text has been removed and edited to correctly reflect the above source.[1] –Zfish118⋉talk 13:41, 17 January 2024 (UTC)
