What I did here

[edit]

I found the wording of the article somewhat confusing. I wikified words that some people would not find familiar. I replaced the photo in the infobox, and added the two others (both from different periods) into the article too, chronologically. I removed the links to You Tube. (??!) --If someone wishes to demonstrate Gordon's sound, sound bites, though clips only, can be made and added. I clarified the introduction I expanded 6-12 months or so ago. Also, please note: for albums, (LP, DVD, or CD) the quotes around the title, as with film titles have two quotes. See? But, for one track on an album, (which is technically almost the same as a "single", only quotation marks go around song names. Another repetitive issue: the editor should avoid using Robert Gordon's full name too frequently, and if possible, avoid using his first name altogether. If anybody working on the article wants any help or positive feedback, please feel free to contact me on my talk page, OK? Thanks for helping by editing this piece! --Leahtwosaints (talk) 21:38, 18 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fire

[edit]

Other areas of Wikipedia state this song was written by Springsteen for Elvis Presley (not Gordon) and elsewhere the song is simply referred to as a "castoff" from Darkness on the Edge of Town. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.10.105.34 (talk) 14:25, 14 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
