Requested move

The result of the proposal was PAGE MOVED to unhyphenated version. If the hyphenated version is more common in English-language sources, then we should move it there, but let's see the sources first. This move was uncontroversially an improvement, even if it's not optimal. -GTBacchus(talk) 00:07, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Move to Risk management plan, which now redirects to Risk management; alternatively merge to Risk management. – Leo Laursen – ✍ ⌘ 08:03, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
- Support move, simple housekeeping to comply with naming conventions. Deal with the merge later. Andrewa (talk) 22:41, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

- Comment - Isn't it more properly at Risk-management plan, grammatically speaking? ~ JohnnyMrNinja 11:11, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Article Change Management
[edit]The PMBoK Guide ($40-) was recently updated in the references (5th edition, 2013), but the definition of project risk looks like an older one? Also the page number (373) is unlikely to be the same after two revisions. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.183.224.2 (talk) 21:58, 17 July 2015 (UTC)
Add 'Eliminate' as an alternative term for the 'Avoid' strategy to manage risk
[edit]For many years, I have used the term 'Eliminate' instead of 'Avoid' as the first strategy to manage risk - however, I cannot remember where (and don't have time just at the moment to research it) to reference it. So my proposed change, if anyone can find the citation, would be to simply add 'Eliminate' in brackets after 'Avoid' just like the other strategies to manage risk have other common terms.
Oops, should have just looked at the Risk Management page on Wikipedia (en.wiki.x.io/wiki/Risk_management)! On that page, it has Eliminate in brackets after Avoidance in the 'Potential risk treatments' section.
