Redirect

[edit]

As this article is entirely about a trivial use of the formula for a right cylinder, but there is no consensus to delete it, I recommend replacing the content with a redirect to Cylinder (geometry).—Anita5192 (talk) 19:51, 12 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

  • I support the replacement with a redirect. I do not agree with the comparisons of cube vs. cuboid, or cuboid vs. parallelopiped being similar. Perhaps the number of words in the respective titles can serve as a hint as to why? Truncated pyramid, Oblique cylinder, etc. are also redirects to more fundamental concepts or one-word names. There is as yet not a single WP article that uses the phrase "right circular hollow cylinder". —Quondum 19:17, 13 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I replaced this article with a redirect for the reasons stated above and because more than a week has passed and no one has objected to the replacement.—Anita5192 (talk) 02:33, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
