- No. I don't know how many other ways to put it: Wikipedia is not for information like this. This is an encyclopedia. Encyclopedia articles aren't for assertions like "valued expert in bottom[-]line savings" (whatever that is; we don't use buzzwords like that here either). "Compassionate, committed, and driven" isn't even good language for a c.v. (what do those empty buzzwords really mean? "Compassionate" to whom? "Committed" to what? What is "driven" supposed to mean, anyway? Also, ampersands are not okay in formal text, only in abbreviations or where space is truly at a premium; see MOS:AMP for Wikipedia's position) but is not appropriate for an encyclopedia that is to be written with a neutral point of view, avoiding value judgments like this. I strongly recommend that you read good encyclopedia articles about executives and see how they are sourced and what points of information are considered appropriate for this platform. The type of information you've added here should stay on LinkedIn. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 20:11, 9 August 2018 (UTC)

My photo that was properly submitted and facts that were contributed again factual keep getting deleted and warning templates are again on Richard Borer Wikipedia page. Please let me know how I can correct this immediately.

I suggest you make contact with the editor who placed the tags, in this case Theroadislong, and ask them what changes need to be made for the tags to be removed. spintendo 18:55, 15 August 2018 (UTC)
- I have removed the COI template as the conflicted user is now using the talk page, I removed the photograph, because it's missing evidence of permission. It may have an author and a source, but there is no proof that the author agreed to license the file under the given license. Theroadislong (talk) 19:07, 15 August 2018 (UTC)

[edit]Ticket# 2018081510009148 confirms photographer's permission for use of photo. Please let me know when image will be live again on profile. Thank you kindly, --Thehappyworkaholic (talk) 21:02, 21 August 2018 (UTC)
- @Thehappyworkaholic: I realize Wikipedia can be confusing to newcomers but this is not the way to request permission. Talk pages are read by editors and permissions are processed by OTRS agents. Almost no editor reading this page would know what to do with that request. However, it has now been processed. Processing the permission does not restore it to the page that should be done by you the editor.--S Philbrick(Talk) 23:47, 22 August 2018 (UTC)

Removal of Templates
[edit]Hi There,
As there are no updates that have been made now since they have all been deleted is it possible to have the templates taken down from Richard Borer profile? I will send updates that can hopefully be approved next.

- Do the sources support this, or do you have other sources that support this? Theroadislong (talk) 21:43, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
Removal of Templates
[edit]Can you please tell me how I can get the two templates removed on Richard Borer's Wikipedia page.
If there is an issue to fix please allow me to do so. I just need to know how to rectify this situation.
Thank you kindly,
Thehappyworkaholic (talk) 21:38, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- The conflict of interest template can be removed once you give an assurance that you won't be editing the page directly. The notability template can be removed once there are enough reliable secondary sources that discuss him in depth are found. Theroadislong (talk) 21:45, 6 September 2018 (UTC)
- References are weak: #4 is an interview and #5 has only a sentence or two mention of Borer. I my opinion this article does not meet Wikipedia standards for notability and should be submitted to Articles for Deletion. David notMD (talk) 02:10, 7 September 2018 (UTC)
- Looking over the page it does not seem that any edits by Thehappyworkaholic have really been incorporated into the article itself.
Given this would it make more sense to remove the COI from the article and place a Template:connected contributor here? Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 00:50, 2 October 2018 (UTC)Didn't look deeply enough. The page has had considerable clean-up but there are still some issues. It feels like there are minor issues which could somewhat easily be cleared up (e.g. removing credit for the state of the art police station to something more neutral) so the COI tag could be removed. Obviously there is already proper disclosure on this page for Thehappy's contributions as there should be. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 00:56, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
