Should be noted/linked as a bushfood (indigenous Australians) and have more information on its use

[edit]

I note that this plant was/is a bushfood for indigenous Australians: "The bush bean (Rhyncharrhena linearis) has been an important food source for the indigenous people of Central Australia for tens of thousands of years."

See the following webpages for confirmation and some details: https://www.fondazioneslowfood.com/en/ark-of-taste-slow-food/bush-bean/; https://www.abc.net.au/gardening/how-to/healing-a-landscape/11350458; https://japingkaaboriginalart.com/articles/damper-seed/
