Repeated addition of the word "legendary"

The word "legendary" has been repeatedly added to this article from various anonymous IPs. It does not belong for two reasons. (1) The principal meaning of the word is that that the person is mentioned in legends, but is not a real person. (2) Even with the limited meaning that the person is much talked about, adding that word violates the policy at Wikipedia:Neutral point of view.
