Fair use rationale for Image:Republic Poly logo.jpg

[edit]

Image:Republic Poly logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:52, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Republic Polytechnic (RP) is Institute of Technical Education's (ITE) North campus

[edit]

The Singapore's Ministry of Education (MOE) has only placed Institute of Technical Education (ITE) institutions in the West, East and Central regions of the country but not the North is due to the fact that the Republic Polytechnic (RP) takes its position as the de facto North campus for ITE. Both RP and the other ITE institutions have identical educational classifications as places for vocational education. RP is ITE North.

Please provide reliable sources to back your claim. Hearsay and "de facto" are not notable for inclusion without reliable sources. A few articles from the news media calling it "ITE North", or a press release from the Ministry of Education, will do. Otherwise, this is a mere conjecture and cannot be added. Not everything can be reliably sourced as I don't think news media covers this sort of things. RP has a widely known reputation for this. 203.229.113.62 (talk) 16:40, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia functions on WP:RS reliable sources and not hearsay and conjecture. It only includes information featured in reliable sources. Seloloving (talk) 16:42, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hello! RP has just changed its logo as part of their brand refresh on 4 October 2024. Can anyone help to update the logo? You can retrieve it from their official website: Https://www.rp.edu.sg Rainstrike (talk) 09:56, 9 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
