Official biography
[edit]In conjunction with a photograph sent in response to a WP:ERP request, Reina's manager e-mailed me a copy of her biography, also under a GFDL license. I've copied the contents of that biography to Talk:Reina/Official Bio for any editors who wish to use material from it. Videmus Omnia Talk 01:53, 16 July 2007 (UTC)

– I think the person Reina isn't more important than other People and places. Vivaelcelta {talk · contributions} 14:28, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Comment. Okay - do you have any evidence to support that feeling? Dohn joe (talk) 14:34, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support: Her article gets less than a thousand page views per month, and she is competing for disambiguation with a large number of alternatives, some of which have clear long-term significance (e.g., two villages, a breed of cattle, a type of grape, a river, and a Spanish word). As a dance-pop music singer/songwriter, her significance is relatively WP:RECENT in terms of long-term significance, and fame can be rather fleeting in that arena. (I acknowledge that I tend to use a longer-term interpretation of "long-term" than some people seem to.) —BarrelProof (talk) 16:47, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support, clear absence of a primary topic for this term. bd2412 T 17:36, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support. No primary topic here. Steel1943 (talk) 20:18, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support, although for the record, I don't think that the Latvian spelling of the Rhine river counts for much - nor do an alternative grape name that doesn't even appear in the grape article, or the fact that there's a Spanish word reina. There are still enough alternative actual uses that a dab page is probably best. Dohn joe (talk) 20:59, 9 September 2014 (UTC)s
- Support - and I have cut that Latvian spelling of the Rhine from the dab, unlike Reina (Spanish Queen) which has dozens of uses intruding in to English article namespace, the Latvian Rhine has no derived meanings on the dab. In ictu oculi (talk) 23:12, 9 September 2014 (UTC)
- Meanwhile, the number of other topics at Reina (disambiguation) has doubled or tripled for other reasons. At least two of the other entries (Reina Miyauchi and Juanita Reina) are unfortunately also singers, but I think it is reasonably safe to ignore that, since I believe the other singers are not well known by the Reina mononym. —BarrelProof (talk) 01:25, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- Reina Tanaka is sometimes known by just her given name, as a member of a large J-pop group and since she gives it in hiragana in Japanese. At least some people looking for her won't know her family name. I still think it'll be fine to use Reina (singer) for this article, but thought I'd make note of it. —innotata 01:56, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- I suppose we could hypothetically put this article at "Reina (singer, born 1978)" instead of just "Reina (singer)", but I'm not sure that's necessary. —BarrelProof (talk) 04:37, 10 September 2014 (UTC)

- Support Obviously, no primary topic. —innotata 01:56, 10 September 2014 (UTC)
- Support. At least 28 percent of main page traffic is continuing to the DAB (804/2864). When a lemma is properly targeted, that number is more like 2 percent. From googling Reina -wikipedia, Liverpool goalie Pepe Reina is the subject with the best claim to primary topic status.
