Old Talk Page
[edit]1.@ 17:24, 4 May 2006, Reverie Says: Great, someone's started an article on good ol' Reepham; I hearby call upon all Reephamites to strive to better this article until it is a magnificant piece of informative text, worthy of a place on the 'ledgy' website that is known as Wikipedia.
2. @14:35, 14 May 2006, 172.214.133.215 Says: how about a section on the most promenant shops in reepham? i.e. Spar, Post Office, Dianes Pantry, V's Cafe etc..
and also a section on the church detailing how the outside is occupied by wasters every friday night?
just tossing around ideas...
3. @17:32, 2 June 2006,172.213.240.12 Says: as far as the school is concerned the Reepham wiki should not be used as a bulletin board to note down any events which occur at the school... if you think how much happens in one year, if these were constantly documented the wiki would become cluttered.
4. @11:58, 10 June 2006,Reverie Says: Sorry about the delay in replying...
(In reply to comment #2) Yep, those all sound like good ideas. I'll do some research and see what I can add. To be honest, I don't live in Reepham personally so don't know all the details, feel free to add yourself :-).
(In reply to comment #3) You make a fair point. The refference to the art exhibition was basically just a bit of cheap advertising. As the event has now finished, I'll try and change the sentence to have a more passive descriptive tone, to try and keep it from becoming 'a bulletin board'.
New Talk Page
[edit]Thanks for the recent revamp people. I'd been adding a lot to it, but hadn't really had a chance to go back and remove repetition and improve comprehension.
Kudos to User:ej159 and User:kevis.
I've created this new talk page as the last one (see above) was a bit poorly structured. I'm going to start a list of the some of the things we need to find out to improve the article.
Improvements List
[edit]* Statistics particularly population. Sorted - 2001 stats --Reverieuk 20:25, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

I've tidied up a little. Reepham is a Norfolk Town not a Village. Just chucked spaces in where they're due etc.

Alumni
[edit]Are the Notable alumni *really* that notable? If they had articales in their own right they'd likely be up for speedy deletion. 164.36.142.217 11:43, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
Article Criticisms
[edit]Kerry's Pine ?
[edit]For goodness sake, read what wikipedia is not. It's not an advertising hoarding (and it's not a memorial either). This whole article is lacking the quality required by Wikipedia (and deserved by Reepham, I might add) Ghughesarch 19:08, 13 April 2007 (UTC)
Terrible Article
[edit]Please tidy this up and remove the lame references to Kerry's Pine and the efficacy of the local Radio's advertising! --20.133.0.14 15:39, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
- To the above posters, I have begun to edit the piece in question. However, I would like to point out, it is not wikipediac to refer to the article as 'Terrible' and yet do nothing to improve it yourself. It is offensive to those who have put hard work into the article, and if you're not happy, you have the 'edit' button too.
- Thanks. --Reverieuk 20:25, 17 April 2007 (UTC)
