Gender Gauntlet Table Consistency

[edit]

Say how come in both Gauntlet 2 and 3 have an extra male gauntlet than females? I thought these games there has to be an equal amount of players per gender in the game? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 134.139.21.163 (talk) 19:34, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is fair this season though because Coral quit and made the number of girls at the end matching the ammount of guy.

Jo also quit in the Gauntlet 2.74.196.134.34 (talk) 21:32, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Table consistency

[edit]

Why is it that under "Original Season", for some contestants, the season of The Real World and Road Rules on which they originally appeared is given, but for others like Diem Brown, Eric Banks or Ryan Kehoe, the season of the Challenge on which they first appeared is given? Why the difference? Shouldn't be all one or the other? Nightscream (talk) 23:38, 18 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Those contestants you named, and a few others, were never on a The Real World or Road Rules season, therefore their original season is a Challenge season. --Latish redone (formerly All in) (talk) 00:26, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They're actually casting people who've never been on one of the parent shows? Geez, that's weird. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 00:46, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
They only did it once because Road Rules had been off the air for so long and they were not producing enough talent via Real World alone to feed Challenge casting. Thus they came up with "Fresh Meat" to meet that need. A Fresh Meat II has been considered although with Road Rules Viewer's Revenge providing a new crop of challenge worth faces, it is not currently a necessity. Table Screwed Up

[edit]

The table is mostly black, and I don't know how to fix it. Could you help, please?64.252.75.63 (talk) 22:07, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Which table? It looks fine in my browser. Plastikspork (talk) 22:53, 10 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The Challenge/Gauntlet history. Everything but the column with the Gauntlet game has a black font with a black background. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Stjimmy61892 (talkcontribs) 16:48, 16 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Setting

[edit]

The page says that this show was set in the state of Nayarit, but searches show that the setting was Puerto Vallarta, in the state of Jalisco. Should the page be fixed to say Puerto Vallarta instead of Nayarit? Paris1127 (talk) 17:27, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I changed it since MTV says Puerto Vallarta as well. Thanks! Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 18:25, 11 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]
In each episode the location for that episode's challenge was announced by host TJ Lavin. (i.e. "Welcome to ____. Today's challenge is ...") Apparently the location for most of the challenges, but not all, was Nayarit. But I agree that the season location shown by MTV should be used since that is what is relevant, not the locations for each of the 16 challenges. Note that other RW/RR seasons are probably inaccurate in this way as well. --l a t i s h r e d o n e (previously User:All in) 00:52, 30 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
