Oklahoma City FC
[edit]are we treating these as the same franchise? It seems as though Rayo didn't pay a separate expansion fee and has the same local partners from that failed bid. However, they also don't seem to be acknowledging the failed Oklahoma City FC attempt.Dsm mls (talk) 15:13, 12 November 2015 (UTC)
- @Dsm mls: Unless there is a statement or transaction showing that Martin Presa bought the OKCFC expansion from Sold Out Strategies than for now we have to assume that it is a different franchise. SOS still being involved could be part of the agreement for Martin Presa to launch his team after taking over the market area from the failed expansion team or it could just be that SOS was hired to manage the team locally (SOS and Prodigal are probably are the two most prominent sports management companies in the OKC area and Prodigal is already involved with Oklahoma City Energy FC ruled them out).
