Possible DYK hooks
[edit]- ALT1 ... that winners of the Randell Cottage Writers' Residency get to live in one of Wellington's oldest colonial buildings (cottage pictured)?
- ALT2 ... that Randell Cottage (pictured), home to a residency for French and New Zealand writers, is a listed heritage building?
- ALT3 ... that because the Katherine Mansfield Menton Fellowship is based in France, the Wellington-based Randell Cottage Writers' Residency is open to French writers (cottage pictured)?
Here's what I can think of. I'd welcome your suggestions. It should definitely get nominated with the photo. Schwede66 18:25, 13 January 2022 (UTC)
- @Schwede66: You make this look so easy! I like ALT1 and ALT3 best. Mind if I go ahead and nominate on behalf of us both? I have a spare QPQ. Also wondered about the following alternative approach to ALT1:
- ALT1a ... that Randell Cottage Writers-in-Residence get to live in one of Wellington's oldest colonial buildings (cottage pictured)?

- Chocmilk03, sounds great. Go for it. Schwede66 20:29, 13 January 2022 (UTC)

- Preference for ATL0. Article is interesting and neutral with proper citations and no copyright violations. Several references were unavailable for me. Freedom of panorama exists for buildings in New Zealand so I it appears the photo is ok. I hope it is used. I imagine all of us would like a stay there. Bruxton (talk) 02:20, 14 January 2022 (UTC)
Promoting the main hook (ALT0) to Prep 5, with the picture of a cottage in which we all would definitely like a stay! – Kavyansh.Singh (talk) 15:31, 27 January 2022 (UTC)
