[edit]Coren SearchBot appears to be asserting that this article is a copyvio of itself. I performed a search for an article at this title and clicked on the resulting redlink to create the article, so I am unsure what is causing this; but I will now remove the template. Charcoal?
[edit]" layer of coal ": surely this should read "charcoal".-Wetman (talk) 15:46, 28 January 2012 (UTC)
- I suspect so, too. But I was unable to find a second source for this data point. The English page on research at the site (reference 5) says: "He discovered a layer of coal with fragments of sculls [sic] from a cremated human". The corresponding Norwegian page (reference 6) says: "Han avdekket et kullag med skallefragmenter fra et kremert menneske" - kullag is "layer of coal" but could also be intended to signify trekull (charcoal). Hence the vague "carbon" later in the article when I refer back to the point. If you can find another source on the point, go ahead and make the change; for some reason GoogleBooks is being an absolute pig to me right now, nothing will load.
