Redirect
[edit]Ahoj. Qatar Emiri Air Force[1] was previously an old redirect pointing to Qatar Armed Forces#Qatar Emiri Air Force which I have now changed to redirect to this article. I would like your opinion regarding if this article should be moved to that page instead, since the official and used name for this air force is Qatar Emiri Air Force.[2] Best regards, Get_It (talk) 04:05, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

Orphaned references in Qatar Air Force
[edit]I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Qatar Air Force's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

Worked for 4 years with Gulf Helicopters at the Qatar Airforce Base
[edit]And 6 years with the Amiri Flight, the B707 & B727 were actually operated seperately from the Airforce by the Diwan Amiri at that time, additionally prior to the Boeings we operated a VC10 (Victor Juliet) in Gulf Air Livery. There is no mention of the 4 Westland Lynx stationed at the airbase possibly because they were in Police logo's (though maintained by the Airforce) — Preceding unsigned comment added by UKOLDGIT (talk • contribs) 17:06, 24 April 2022 (UTC)
