Request for a move

[edit]

Dear author, I really liked this article and it's wonderful to popularize our common traditions. Thank you for your work! I want to move the article to Pirog as the latter seems to be a more common name for this type of pie: [1][2]. I would really like to see the article still calling it an Eastern European food, as it's a common heritage, and mentioning all nations where these are cooked. Thanks again, FeelSunny (talk) 19:01, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please see: Pirog. Anna Frodesiak (talk) 02:13, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

I'd merge under Pirog. It's pronounced {и}, which should be transcribed as {i} here. Probably should also consider looking the most popular English spelling up in search engines.FeelSunny (talk) 00:43, 15 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
