Stations and alignment seems to be imprecise
[edit]Hi fellow Wikipedians,
The citation used to verify the stations and termini seems indistinct. Despite this source being published very recently in March 2023[1], there's a source that has much more specific details on the Purple Line's stations from January 2017[2]. I think that when the goal of the article is to convey information and educate, we should prioritize the most discrete figures and remain unambiguous.
Since this article describes a proposal for a future commuter rail line, it's always subject to change; more detailed information can always overwrite the article's content once it becomes available. Ultimately, my question when writing this is in regard to whether or not the content in the 2017 source is relatively outdated, even when the more recent source's information is unclear. Let me know what you all think. 72.220.58.95 (talk) 09:19, 29 October 2023 (UTC)
There also seems to be a mistake in the Purple Line's classification as heavy/commuter rail. SANDAG's I-805 South Bay to Sorrento corridor plans included Route 583 as a commuter rail line from PTC (Port of San Diego T.C.) to San Ysidro, and is unrelated to the Purple Line, numbered as Route 582.

- It should be noted that there is missing information regarding the reclassification of the Purple Line as commuter rail in the wiki article. The mention of this change can be found in Appendix A of the 2021 Regional Plan[4]
