Motorcycle Racing

The article is totally focused on car racing. However, I know from motorcycling magazines & newspapers in Australia that the circuit also hosted some of NZ's prominent motorcycle races during the 1970s & 1980s. Somebody on the south east side of the wet ditch should do justice to this chapter of the circuit's history. Here's a push start:

"Please Note: That the Counties Racing Club have only recently (12 Months)purchased the motor racing track back from the previous owners in a multi million dollar deal. With major development on Counties Racing Club owned Land and on site businesses ie a horse training facility and function centre the facilitys are improving with major resealing of driveways and Major refurbishments of Grandstands and Tracks."
