I have added information on the Upper Lescar Wheel and Nether Lescar Wheel Dams in place of the (single) Lescar Wheel. I have to admit that I suspect that either the Porter Works Dam or the First Endcliffe Wheel could be one of these dams. Does anyone have old maps of the area that could confirm this? Signboards on the decorative railings by the Porter Brook on Eastwood Road describe the 'tree lined dams' (plural) streaching towards Hunters Toll Bar. I have made a fair bit of progress, but the Sheaf and Porter Rivers Trust section reads like an advertisement and is largely copied verbatim from the SPRT website. I'll rework it to avoid copyright violation. Bob1960evens (talk) 14:45, 7 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
