Differences between aired pilot and 'leaked' version
[edit]I haven't seen the version as broadcast; could someone add a sentence/para regarding whether the January broadcast matched the 'leaked' pilot last summer or has differences? --AlisonW (talk) 19:09, 14 January 2008 (UTC)
- I don't have the leaked pilot ep handy, but I do remember that A) they recast the guy who Sarah was engaged to, and reshot all his scenes B) I think they rescored the opening action/dream sequence B) the final scene took place inside a house with Cameron, Sarah, and John, with Cameron polishing her handguns, Sarah loading a shotgun and her final line was "It's going to be a goddamn dogfight" (on air it was "Hell of a dogfight") —Preceding unsigned comment added by 204.187.154.49 (talk) 05:05, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
- Thanks. I've now managed to watch the opener and rewatch the leaked pilot. I noticed very few differences that might matter, indeed except for a final line cut the only real one appeared to be the cold open where John is pulled out of the library (broadcast) as opposed to a full class lesson (pilot). --AlisonW (talk) 10:41, 17 January 2008 (UTC)
I've seen fan sites discussing the differences (most importantly the recasting of Sarah's finace from Burke Daniels played by Tim Guinee to Charley Dixon played Dean Winters and the change in the opening dream sequence with Sarah pulling John out of a library instead of a full classroom, but several others as well) and I've seen the final sales master of the pilot myself (WP:OR), but has anyone seen these differences discussed in a reliable source? -- Thinking of England (talk) 01:50, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
